'Miracle' girl who was declared dead after being shot in the head by Uber driver leaves hospital

A 14-year-old girl who was mistakenly declared dead after being shot in the head by a mass murderer has left hospital.
Abigail Kopf's mother said that she believed her daughter "willed herself back" after the random attack by Uber driver Jason Dalton in Michigan last month, NBC News reported.
The teen had been to see a musical in Kalamazoo with a close family friend, Barbara Hawthorne, who she called "Grandma" when Dalton shot them.
The pair were about to drive out of a restaurant car park when he fired his gun into their car.Hawthore, 68, died, along with three other people in the car park. Dalton, 45, killed a total of six people in three separate locations in the city.
Abigail underwent brain surgery, and at one point Vicki Kopf was told that her daughter had died. She said she was already discussing organ donation when she heard a faint heartbeat and later felt the teen squeeze her hand.
She was not ready to go yet, and she's got many more things that she wants to do.
I don't know if I can say it's a miracle. I think she's just one strong-willed child, that [said] 'I'm not finished yet.'
And she's gonna finish what she started.

Abigail has started walking with assistance and doctors say that with rehabilitation, she could be "very close to functional, if not entirely functional."
