Russia "broke the deal" over a ceasefire in Syria, Donald Trump has said.
The US yesterday suspended talks with Russia over a new ceasefire deal, saying Moscow had failed to live up to its commitments under the previous agreement.
Mr Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, has been accused of being overly friendly towards Russian President Vladimir Putin in the past.
But on Tuesday he told a rally in Arizona: "Russia broke the deal, and now they're shooting, they're bombing, something like that. It should end and it should end fast."
He added that President Putin has "no respect" for President Barack Obama or his rival Hillary Clinton.
